Thinking of trombone loop exhaust on gen2?

Anybody ever thought about installing a gen3 trombone exhaust on a gen2 or creating a similar type of custom exhaust?
The gen3 exhaust sounds pretty decent.

I have a custom trombone system in the works. The trick is to find the right size.

I’d be curious if the Gen 3 trombone pipe would bolt in place of the Gen 2 muffler inlet pipe. I’m guessing dimensions probably changed, but you never know.

Nah. It's not that serious and I personally don't think the Gen 3 sounds a whole lot better. It's an improvement, but I still wouldn't say it sounds "good" so what's the point, really? Just added weight and cost.

The only exhaust mod on a Gen 2 that made sense to me was an OEM muffler from a Limited F-150

Afe makes an equal length downpipe for the Gen 2. That would probably be easier than trying to retrofit a gen3 exhaust.

They come with or without cats too…but they are insanely expensive.
