I had the FOX 3.0 coilers installed on my 2018 Screw by SVC a little over a week ago. Before anybody gets all excited about why only driven on road, just calm down. I will test them in the dirt as time permits.
Initially I was going to go with the SVC spacers to level the front end ( I love my truck but could not get past the front end rake and wanted to level it) but I thought that might harshen the ride significantly by changing the spring rate. My on road driving impression are as follows:
Very similar to stock on dips and undulations on the freeway (low speed compression). On harsh hits such as big pot holes (high speed compression) and such the suspension is definitely stiffer than the stock ride. However there is adjustability on both the hi and low speed compression. Initially my high speed compression was set at six clicks in CCW. I felt this was a little to harsh on the street so I backed it out 4 clicks. This helped significantly. The ride on the street now is very similar to stock but with less brake dive and roll on turns. The best part is they are adjustable so I am looking forward to playing in the dirt as time permits.
Currently the truck sits about .5" high in the front. I love the way it looks now.
The guys at SVC off road in Lake Forrest are awesome! From what I can see they did an awesome job at a very good price. They appeared to be very busy but Jeff still took a little time to explain the install and basic functionality. These guys look like they live and breath off-roading. I will definitely be returning to them.
