Yeah it’s the first thing I noticed.

Yes. It did not come with any hardware so I had to buy a drain plug, bolts to hold the factory blow off valve and some aluminum to make a bracket. I also ordered some weather striping off amazon for the front of the intercooler like the Mishimoto.

Anymore specifics on the bracket required?
My work has milling machines etc. I could probably get whatever size I need made there.

I just cut the aluminum to the right size, marked and drilled some holes and bolted it on. Took me maybe 10 min using an angle grinder and drill. You will need a bolt and nut for the blowoff valve and the M6-1.00 bolts thread right into the intercooler.

I'd want to have my bracket made before I go into tearing it apart.

I might have to pull the trigger on one of these, that price is too good to pass up. Can one of you who's done the install please link what weatherstripping you went with on Amazon?

Too cheap to pass up. Especially since I’ve proven they’re Mishimoto units. Probably off spec because of the blow off valve mounting holes. Easily fixed by making your own bracket.
