Used a 3" hose clamp, should work okay!
Did the drivers side as well, just to be safe.
Installed my new MBRP exhaust tip. Thanks to @Joker! It tamed the sound sound down a bit as well. Also raised the whole exhaust up about 3" to compensate for the larger diameter of the new tip and to keep it from dragging anything.
Zip Ties.. LOL Who tries regular zip ties. They do have special ones for them...lol
i love zip ties
Well, that's what RPG or WOG used when they installed the tie-rods!! Lame as hell in my opinion!!
I would agree. They make special Boot Clips that lock into place for just this purpose. You just need the tool to do it
Truck is not done but picked up today to get the double shear SDHQ tie rods installed, new boots (with clamps!), Fuse 27 relocation done, radio wired to battery. Made note of issues we found and told body shop doing the rest of the work. Was told two more weeks......
Liking the new Rebel bumper but need to find out how to adjust as it doesn't appear that we can. @Jimbo
And got to meet up with two awesome guys.
They did a decent job welding on the doubler plates to hope to reinforce that area.
@RDFTS - There is slight up/down/left/right adjustability. They should have snugged the bolts first, then you can adjust it according to the valence prior to tightening everything down.
What we gathered is I will have to use washers between the bumper and frame horn on the bottom bolts to shim it so the front can rotate up. We could not move the bumper up any more otherwise the ends would hit the valance.
