GEN 2 Going down to 16" wheels?

Apologies if this has been discussed already, I promise I tried searching and didn't get much. But, has anyone figured out whether you can go down a wheel size on the Gen2 Raptors from 17" down to 16"? I'm exploring options for a new wheel and tire combo and really like the idea of going down to a 16" wheel and sticking with 35" tires.

Does anyone know if 16s will clear the stock brake calipers?

Nope, won't clear calipers.

Get 1 here, but I don't think these parts changed. From having done the brakes many times, I'm about 99.99% sure that wouldn't fit. If you put the pads in wrong they'll hit the wheel weights, that's how close the 17s are. Ask me how I know about the wheel weights...
