Just flew back to orlando (where my baby was parked for the last week) plane was delayed so didnt get back till like 2 am an its nice an dark out. So anyways half way home on 417 an theres not any cars in sight decide to flip some switches an light up the way (38" e serries and 4 dually spots) next thing ya know state trooper comes up over the hill sees a massive light blur, rips through the big grass median to come pull us over haha, first thing he says "are those lights stock?" ***** ended up just telling us to slow down an only use the lights offroad..... Not gunna happen

There was no other motorist bud. Even if there was it was a 6 lane hwy with a centre median that was probably 100ft so not like it would even affect them, the cop poped up outa nowhere (like they always do)

I guess i just gota stop posting on this dam forum cuz i got people hating on me everyday lol time to join the forum"Z" i guess....

using that much light on road isnt needed, and WILL affect other drivers. no matter how many lanes it is.

not smart, and not very nice to other people on the road. you say there was no one else, obviously there was or you wouldnt of been pulled over ;)

Stick around the Z is too boring! I cant see for crap on unlit roads at night and use my Rigids when necessary, just don't use the big one unless your off road and the others use them like brights, flick them off as soon as you see someone coming.

I run my lightbar all the time when no ones else is on the road. I am on back roads at 5 am and no one else is on those roads at that time. Although now with my FXR retroed lights i dont need to use the light bar on the road now as much

when i get my light bar ill use it on back roads (gravel roads, not those paved things you Americans call back roads) but aside from that, headlights and fogs only for me.

Watch out. In ontario use of off road lights on a public road can lead to a huge fine and even roadside vehicle seisure. Read up the ontario highway act.
Also it says light covers are manditory but noone ever bothered me about that.
But i did almost get in shit for running 2 pairs of amber d2 downtown. Got away with a warning so i dont run em anymore
