Need a vehicle for my wife. Selling her 2021 Cayenne GTS (10 month old, 4k miles) back to dealer for same I paid.

Test drove the 2022 MDX. It was fine for her. About to pull trigger and salesman says oh btw, all MDX at 5K over sticker. Cya.

Now looking at a Highlander Limited or the ancient but old standby 4Runner.

Low profile tires and curbs do not mate well. Don’t even ask.

Why would someone who wants a Raptor do that? That would almost be as dumb as getting a 3/4 ton Ram without the Cummins.
Because I’m just being a smart *** to poke the bear.

And for the record, the 3/4 ton Ram with a Hemi in the Power Wagon package is pretty cool.

@Stingray23 @MDJAK Thats exactly what I did, just bought a new TRD Pro 4R below MSRP and she is doing everything I need just fine. Gutless climbing into the mountains compared to the raptor but that’s about the biggest complaint I have after having had both. On a brighter side I do save $60+ PER FILL UP, so that’s nice…I mean **** for these ADM’s I could of bought 2

Mountain States Toyota in Denver, CO will sell at MSRP including on TRD Pro’s. I had a personal friend there give me a deal, but y’all can definitely get MSRP there. I got a brand new 2021 fresh off the truck. Will say had about a 5 month wait though from order to pickup and have heard 2022’s will be longer waits. Funny thing was KBB had the 4Runner as over $10k higher than I paid right off the lot. Appreciation off the lot is pretty crazy ha.

Nowhere close to Podunk, where most of you live.
I hadn't purchased a Ford since my 03 Cobra in 03. Buying my 21 raptor was the worst buying experience in my life. I've had approx 25 new cars over past 30 years (family buys as well) and this topped it all. I wanted to say *** it on countless occasions but didn't because I wanted one of these damn trucks. I now hate Ford But love my truck.

I said the same thing 10 yrs ago when I started looking for my Raptor. NEVER had a worse experience trying to buy a car. Ford dealers will have you believe that you're buying some super limited car that only special people with very deep pockets can get. Its been a nightmare with Ford since the first Ford GT and 2007 Shelby GT500. All downhill since then. I dread having to try for another Raptor.
