@nikhsub1 Ignore him. It's the same dude that claimed to have a F250, a raptor, a Subaru that could submerged, a JDM silva, was a Subaru ambassador, etc etc. He's come out of the woodwork again. Just google his user name. Clown doesn't know anything.

I never claimed any of that you assumed that. Like I said who am I just some dude trying to help fellow Raptor owners out.

You claimed you were a Subaru Ambassador to me Jim. Would you like me to share the PM? You also claimed a Subaru with a snorkel was better than a raptor. Would you like me to post that link as well? As for the F150 you claimed to have bought along with the JDM Silva, those are on other forums that a simple google search brings them up.

You're just a basement troll from Alabama. Like I said in the PM's to you in the past, grow up, shut up, learn and stop trolling and repeating BS.

I’m taking my truck in Saturday. @FordTechOne would there still be any reason to specify Supp #2? Or should this be the only version available to flash with in the system? I would have to think by now this is the case.

Sounds like the reflash didn’t do anything for you as expected. The reflash tsb mentions some engines may also have a hot idle knock, does yours do that also? I wonder what the cam phaser is doing that causes a knock at idle? Ford tech one- do you know what would be happening internally in the cam phaser that would cause a knock at idle when the engine is hot???
The hot idle knock is not common, but it appears to be the result of the VCT solenoid duty cycle and is corrected with the new calibration. The TSB for phaser replacement does not include that symptom.

FTO- shifting has become progressively worse since the update. Where can I get the full documentation on the service bulletin? I've only seen it on a YouTube video. I recall watching they should reverse the update if there is a shifting issue. Thanks
The calibration only needs to be reverted if there is a shudder, which many people mistake as a transmission concern. If it’s shifting differently than before the update, I’d recommend doing the transmission adaptive drive cycle with ForScan.

See procedure in this thread:

The software update is a preventative measure. It won't fix a phaser locking pin that is already worn. Hence the reason for the 21N03 program. Anytime the powertrain calibration is reset the transmission adaptive tables are as well; it needs to relearn the vehicle's operating characteristics.
Thank you ford tech, now to find a level road

What is this shudder like? I had mine done about 2 weeks ago and feel like it is occasionally in too high of a gear. As an example, when I turn onto my street, the truck makes its way up to 6th gear on a slight uphill and the truck kind of sputters along like it's in too high of a gear for the speed we're going.

It's going in Tuesday to get the cam phasers replaced.
