We just got done with our first really hot weather of the year, and I found that when the cab was heated up, the OEM tray was hanging up on the rearward part of the E&G safe opening. I'm assuming the clearances get too tight when the safe expands from the heat. I even tried sanding the tray down a little to clearance it, but it didn't help. I ended up getting the same tray that @Johnkn got, and it works great. $13 on Amazon and it must have a little more clearance because it fits perfect. I just switched my handle over to it and it's great. Maybe Nick@Apollo-Optics can ask them to loosen up their clearances a little in the rear of the opening in the future.

I don't. It is the last inch or so of both long sides towards the rear. I didn't want to grind/file it to open it up and ruin that nice finish. It fit fine until it was high 90's, very humid, windows up, and sitting in full sun letting the Ceramic coating and window tint cure.

OldFart, glad that top tray worked out, it has so much useable space than the stock tray, the quality is OEM and the price is right.

Thanks for posting that up. I didn't even know they had aftermarket trays, and it works better than the OEM one. The only thing I didn't like about it is the lack of an easy way to lift it out one handed to get underneath, and that's such an easy fix.
