Sunroof Rattle

Thanks for the good info in here fellas. No squeaks or rattles for me yet. Now I know what to do when they appear.

Advice. Do it before noises happen. If you get a lot of hot sun and rain in your region. Do it every 6 months. And open the roof just for the heck of it. Vent button first. This will keep it in good shape and quiet.

Awesome, thanks for the advice. It does get hotter than hell during the Texas summers. I think I will be doing this just as soon as I can order the lube.

As the elements get to the seal it will lose lubricity. And firm up to some degree. The lubes keep it conditioned. Outside of noise the roofs been working fine on my truck.

Great suggestion on getting the moon roof seals lubed BEFORE they get noisy or sticky. I’d think about every 6 months in TX heat.

Was literally just able to log back in today after posting initially- thanks to everyone for assisting!
I've been out of commission and unable to drive for the greater part of 2-3 weeks, so it hasn't bothered me haha.... but the dealer is picking it back up next week to revise their work, and insisted they would not charge me for getting back on it.
I'll report back with what they do/find outside of what was mentioned by you folks here.

Literally just got done dealing with this, was driving me nuts! I actually did it around 7k miles as a maintenance item as it wasn't rattling. Currently at 14k miles and the rattling was driving me insane. Followed the TSB and used the Krytox , rattles are gone.

thats good to hear. My 2020 has 28K on it, Sunroof is driving me CRAZY! creaking and popping on the street. This trucks never even seem dirt yet Was already planing on ordering a new "R" with the roof. Save the $$ and the aggravation...
