Subtle Clunking

Measure it at half full and near empty.

Complaint suspension will show weight imbalances.

Took it to Anza Borrego last weekend and had a blast. The clunking was not present when off-roading and seemed to drastically decrease after the trip. Starting to think that it’s the shocks doing their thing. Take it off-road, you won’t regret it (within reason)!

Not to be that guy, but there's 2 Gen 3 clunking threads going. Would be easier to consolidate to one thread

But one is for the rear and one is the subtle front clink correct?

I have both issues. my guess is all of my shocks are bad and I have the issue with the drive shaft.

After a little more listening and shaking the vehicle it now does sound like its coming from my rear shocks. If you have someone stand at the rear portion of the running board and bounce up and down you should be able to replicate the noise (or that was the only way I was able to).

I wonder if this is the same thing my 19 did. If i went under and pushed up on the bumper and let it come down , like 1/2 " each way , there was knocking. Oddly i dont hear it now

I noticed less "clunk" in sport mode. Not sure what that could mean or not mean. But I'll be driving in sport mode a lot more now.

Curious if there's any new word on this? Picked up a 2022 last week and same clunking noise coming from my rear driver shock. Have a call in with Fox and an appointment with the dealer (although I feel they will do nothing)...
