Is there a significance to the banding color used to keep the rear shocks compressed when new?

Is there a way to tell if they are for a scab or screw?

Thanks.

no

Is there a way to tell if they are for a scab or screw without pulling apart?
On the sticker- crew cab has “VA” in the p/n, supercab has “SA” in it

Is there a difference between the driver side and passenger side shock?
no

Is there a similar sticker on the front shocks indicating Super crew or cab?

Is there a difference between the 5.4L front shock and 6.2L super cab shock (other than the coil spring)?

The pictures of the 3.0 coil overs on your website apear to have different a different spring pitch between the DSC and non-DSC models? Are these coil springs different?

Thank you again for the info.

Raptor rear shock numbers ?

How can you tell the difference between the Scab and Screw rear shocks?

anyone know the part numbers and where they are located?

I bought a spare rear shock a couple years ago and don't know if its correct for my truck. I have a Scab.

I put screw on my scab.. my scab had 50k miles, the screw had 3k when installed... no noticeable difference on road other than new shock feel.. tighter...

Just realized u asked for identification purposes.. Haha..
