Quite simply, I have worn through my leather seat and want to know thoughts on best way to repair. I've explored several options but want to see the forum's thoughts. I have attached a picture of the <2 inch tear that also goes into the seam. This is the lower right back portion of the driver seat. Thanks in advance.

I posted a while back in a similar thread about a company called Fibrenew that is a franchised repair company that I had great results with for a small cut. See if you have one near and send them the picture to see what they say.

A local auto upholstery shop can fix that.
New leather won’t look as faded and worn as the rest of seat but over time, only you will know the difference.
Post a pic when you get fixed.
