My Volant looks perfectly clean. Hell the filter is barely dirty. The lid definitely helped and the PowerCore filter is awesome!

Henessey said my K&N filter is a RC-5178. They also used this on the 6.4L jeeps for the intakes. I emailed K&N the filter number and a picture of my throttle body and asked about pre filters. I'll keep you posted.

Looks like a few options on Amazon, (NOT FOR MY TRUCK)
Black Air Filter Wrap

and Red Air Filter Foam Wrap

Some customers on Amazon buy these 2 wraps and the K&N together. Might be a good triple filter offroad setup.

Here's what K&N said to me about a prefilter for Henessey:
Eric,

No available pre filter made specific for this size filter.

Please consider using the Air Force Pre Cleaner.
Click on the link for more info;
25-3918 - K&N Filter Wraps, Air Filter Foam Wrap

With this size you might be able to make 2 covers.

if you have any more questions please don’t hesitate to call or e-mail.

Thank you,
Joji Luz
Looks like I gotta wrap my own. (thats what she said)
