Update on my cam phaser issue.
Dropped it off Tuesday night after work for a cold start Weds morning. Shop foreman called me about 8 am and said yep, you have the phaser rattle, covered by emissions warranty. What?! I didn’t really ask questions but that’s pretty sweet. I guess there is one good thing about living in CA. He said they should have it done by tomorrow afternoon. Parts are in stock and they have one guy that they let sdo these, so I’m assuming he knows what he’s doing. Seems too good to be true, let’s hope it’s not! So if you have a rattle, in CA, under 70k, get it in!
