1997 7.5L (460ci) specs.

When new, the 7.5-liter V-8 had 16 valves, a compression ratio of 8.5-to-1, a 3.85-inch stroke and a 4.36-inch bore. The gasoline engine produces 245 horsepower at 4,000 rpm and 400 pound-feet of torque at 2,200 rpm. The engine is in both rear-wheel and four-wheel drive F-250s.

A Tuned Gen II's power is short lived through the power band.
And doesn't even hit max torque for a second until 4.000 rpms.

Well, you can't compare a forced air with a 10 speed against a 6 speed naturally asperated either!

Put that 10 speed in a NA Gen 1 and the Gen II wouldn't have a chance.

Before the argument goes down the path we've all seen many times I think we should have a modded GEN2 owner race @MTF . There has to be one in his area?

I'm sure there is, and one day when the two of us are on a street that doesn't have a speed cam, I'll find out.
NYC just installed 750 new speed cams. :-(
I only have been in a stock Gen II.
I like the truck overall but it didn't impress me power wise but I'm spoiled now.
