2018 Raptor Oil Consumption Issue

I currently own a 2018 Raptor which has 2800 miles on it. Had a few times where the engine stumbled or had power loss. The check engine light finally came on so I made an appointment for service. Upon inspection it was down 4 quarts of oil. The dealer said due to valve cover gaskets the oil was leaking into engine and being consumed. I am not buying this explanation and it cannot be good driving with only 2 quarts of oil. Has anyone else had these issues and what was the outcome?

I believe that explanation. Only because I've read about several 2018 5.0s on the F50 forum that were consuming oil and that was the reason.
