So, I've read a ton of posts on the benefits of the mid-perch such as stiffer ride, more responsive steering, etc, but are there any benefits to maintaining the stock bottom perch? I haven't seen anything on it in the months I've been on this forum, which may just mean there aren't any, or that nobody's asked the question. Yes, I know there are those of you out there that think the mid or top perch is king, I'm well aware of that. I'm more asking if there's anyone out there that know's the bottom is better for some reason. And if nobody posts a reply, the I guess that settles that. :)

It'll be hard to find anybody who has adjusted their perch and then gone back down. IMO the only benefit to bottom, is the lower ride for garages and the like. Ride and everything else is better on middle

Honestly, 0 benefit to bottom perch instead of mid. The ride is not smoother, its not better off road, you suffer horrible nose dive under any braking.

Less stress on the CV? No need to get a new alignment done. Save some money?

Most likley roll over stability during Dot/insurance testing.

It's only moving up 1 1/2" I doubt its gonna be much more likely to roll.

Remember guys the only reason your truck didn't come mid perch stock, is last minute Ford had to lower it to meet DOT regulations on how high your bumper can be off the ground for manufacturers. All testing was done mid perch
