Yes sir. I never really thought about running full E85 just maybe a blend of up to E30 or so. I get a daily dose of 93 here in Texas but I do travel alot with the truck and go to alot of places that 93 is not available. And I hate having to swap tunes at gas stations. So I prefer now to keep the auto octane adjustments in. Happy to hear that you do that.
But now that you say E85 is not an option at all with my setup it has me thinking. If I was to bump some up some port injectors would the stock fuel pump be enough. I do have the JMS Fuelmax boost a pump would that be enough?

I would grab a set of fic 1000cc or id 1050x injectors. The stock Raptor pump is pretty good, about the same as the dw400 so even without a boost max it'll do 550-600 whp. And yes we can still make those work fine on pump gas.

If you are going to do a built motor and all that you'll want to do full e85. That's a lot of money you'll want to take advantage of that motor. E85 on a built motor is going be 150 hp plus over 93 because we can actually push those turbos. If you do 93 it's still going to be limited by the fuel potential and if you didn't do ported heads and all that jazz its not really going to make and power than you could have the stock motor and 93. It'll be a hell of a lot stronger, but you can only do so much with 93 octane on these.

Gotcha makes perfect sense. My thoughts were a strong motor and maybe some more power but def wanted a stronger motor. I already blew my stock one.
So either some port injectors or jump up to the XDI-60 HPFP to be able to use full E85?

If you're not doing cams I would definitely do the port injection route. The problem with the Gen 2 3.5 L is they downsize the cam lobe for the fuel pump a lot so even if you put an HPFP-60 on it without changing out that cam lobe, it still might not be enough in fact it probably won't be enough.

oh boy lots of reading I still have faith. my stage 5 CRP turbos and manifolds are sitting at RPG right now ready to get installed next week along with JMS fuel max, HPFP 60, ams tubes, etc... along with finally finishing up my suspension. hoping for some great results will be running straight E85 tune and a 91 tune for back up

Pick the right tuner and it'll all be good!

Man, I wanted to do a full built RMB motor.but I'm kinda thinking I might just save up and swap in a whipple'd Coyote motor and call it a day. I don't have e85 or even 93 around me so that's that....

You can make bigger power on 91/93, you just need to go up in Turbo size. The crp won't be big enough, you'll need Borg Warner efr or Garrett G Series kit. Again working of the principle of dropping the back pressure and over all cylinder pressure and making everything more efficient.

Also a whipple 5.0l on 91 octane is probably going to be disappointing as well in the Raptor. They make 600 ish hp and low 500s for torque in a non raptor so it'll probably be high for hundreds for torque and mid 500 horsepower with the Raptor drivetrain.
