Barstow? might as well suggest Bakersfield, Oakland, San Jose...lol

I say a place to where raptors have been sold, but a place to where Ford can have a chance to shed a light and possibly generate more sales...the Raptor has already set its mark in those areas (AZ, CA, NV)...

I know with marketing you want to hit the different regions? west coast, east coast, North West, Mid West...

Barstow is a hot bed for offroading here...Def a fun time out there. Not only that but it's somewhat in the center of SoCal, LV and AZ. I agree the lucerne to barstow to primm run would be epic but Ford needs an area for non Raptor owners to test the rigs out.

I agree its epic for offroading, as the entire place is built on a desert....been there before. Im just saying you can find other places that look a bit more scenic....more family oriented.

We should use these suggestions to plan and schedule our own events! And we should get Raptor owners to agree on the locations so we can pick dates and make plans.

that sounds like fun...

A friend of mine owns a 30th anniversary TA, and they meet up all the time, mostly at car shows around the country to show off their rides. Ours just seem a bit different i guess, for obvious reasons LOL

I want to run that dry lake bed.
I dont know how they got on it, Ive never tried but I have been on other lakebeds. Good for donuts and making lots of dust. I really think Primm could be great for a Roundup.

An another reason, thier casinos are run by Terrible Herbst. By the mall in Terribles Casino, there are 2 race trucks on display with no ropes around them and no security guards so you can get up close and really crawl on the things. They make our Raptors look like something you would buy at Trucks R Us. There are also 2 race boats there next to the trucks.

Go to Buffalo Bills in Primm, go to the back street that passes behind the roller coaster, go about three hundred yards and turn left on powerline road. Follow it to the lake bed. From the North go down to Goldstrike Casino in Jean, follow the road down past the Jean Airport, about two miles down the paved road there is a small substation, turn left at this substation on the sand road, follow this road across the railroad tracks to powerline road. Turn right and follow it a couple of miles to the lake bed. The Jean Roach lake bed is closer to Vegas, about three miles north of Jean. It is visible from the interstate also. We play there frequently, the speed limiter will come into play often:mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:
