It’ll more than pay for itself in bucket memories from Glamis, Barstow and Baja. Plus, if I ever have a problem I know Jarrett and team at SVC will take care of me far better than Ford would ever think of.

Finally put on the Ford performance diff cover and the Hellwig rear anti-sway bar. Haven't driven it too much, but the say bar did seem to reduce body lean in ...ahem... aggressive cornering. Filled the diff with 3 quarts of Lucas gear oil, going to let that stay in for around 1k miles or so then change it out to Mobil-1 for the long-term. Factory fill was pretty cruddy, probably just wearing-in metal, but still happy to have it out. The Lucas will be the 'rinse' to get the rest of the crud out of the gears, nooks and crannies, etc, then the M-1 can do it's thing for the next 100K or so.

Installed tailgate ajar warning along with a reed switch at the tailgate. Gives you a single warning when the tailgate opens in the instrument cluster. Once you hit ok it goes away. Used an existing opening in the tailgate and pinned the new wire from the switch into the connector. So if I decide to remove it’s completely reverse able. Magnet is 3m taped.

(Comments about “I don’t need another alarm, ding, warning, use your camera etc has all been heard before but are more than welcome.) When I go to Starbucks I want to know if my tailgate accidentally pops open when a GMC drives by.

I definitely am not wanting more alarms, but I am very interested in this. Can you post a detailed list and pics of this mod?
