UMP Air Box

Has anyone with a supercharged 6.2 tried to run a UMP or any other style semi closed air box.
I am looking for ideas to be able to run Baja and not worry about the silt and dirt that will be constantly caking up the open CAI that my Roush has.

May have to Fab a box and try not to kill air flow.

UMP told me years ago that their kit does not support a SC.
Best you can do is a sock over the filter and even that robs a little power but it is better than nothing.
At least you can remove the sock and clean it quickly.

hell back in my day we used womens pantyhose to cover the air filter and couple layers of it over the intake definitely helped, however its not foolproof, but did work pretty well.

Ya, I already run the sock. I am going to fab a sheetmetal box that will have enough volume to support the SC.
The stock box is so close to being enough CFM..lol
