I wait for the oil light to come on before topping it off. Sometimes 25-50, or 10-30w just depends what oil is the cheapest at walmart.

I mean, it's just like gas, no point in filling up till the low gas light comes on.

I honestly think most decent oils will do. Just don’t go for that Walmart stuff.

I personally only use amsoil.

Use the Walmart stuff.

I've put Supertech 5W30 Synthetic in everything for the last 20+ years. High dollar oils are a complete waste of oil on a stock Ford engine.

Motorcraft FL500S (used to be $6ea on Amazon), Mobile 1 5w30 6-pack from Costco, every 5k. I've been doing the same on my 2013 3.5L Eco for about 80k w/ zero issues.
