When my truck was new I tried the lot I was using previously (marked 6' - 8"). That clearance bar at the entrance cleared the front of the cab but it wasn't going to clear the rear of the cab. I had to back out (after 2 other cars that were behind me). Anyway, I now try to go with 6ft 10in or more advertised clearance. I expect it will clear 6-8 as others here have indicated, but you can't trust the garages to be that accurate.
I shortened my factory antenna with a dremel tool and cutoff wheel. Now it works fine.
