can you tell me the route you took? I did the Afton to Lauglin mojave trail, but did not know there is a route to Vegas.

is the a web link with a map i could look at?

My guess is he followed the powerlines from Barstow. If you go past Slash X and make the 1st left behind the fence line you can jump on the trail from there. Only 1 time you have to deviate from that road and that's when you get near the 40 fwy.
