Dune Worthy!

The first picture is my AG Raptor on the Beartooth Highway. Second picture is the Blue Raptor I got the pleasure of riding in at the sand dunes in St. Anthony, Idaho. I attended Raptor Assault in June and the 20 minute ride in the dunes impressed me tons more. It was amazing what the Raptor could do in the dunes with stock tires on Method beadlocks. I kept telling myself that the airbags would save me if we rolled.

No, I used the Blackhawk twist lock thingy. It is screwed into a piece of hard plastic so I can use different holsters and pistols.

I've had a few questions on this setup. Here are a few more pictures that show how it was done.

Industrial grade Velcro used on both sides of the plastic, as well as on the inside of the center console.

In order for it to stay stuck, you need to lightly sand the inside of the console to rough it up a bit and use adhesion promoter from 3M. If you don't do both, it won't stay stuck.

The plastic plate is fairly stiff, but flexible and the Blackhawk twist lock thingy is screwed into the plastic, after the Velcro is applied to the plastic using supplied hardware with the twist lock thingy. I have the same twist lock thingy on my plate carrier for portability.

The camera is pretty good actually. That shot is just the preview that was on my phone still. I have to take the SD card out of the drone to get the full size image. Just haven't done that yet..

Got mine last month after a long wait from ordering to production to delivery... but well worth it! Drove it from MA to PA/NJ and then finally to FL.... this truck is great (fast and comfy) for long road trips. Even the ancestors are attracted to it.
