Welcome. There is always a group getting out around here. Just keep watching the upcoming expeditions thread.

I'm in Stockton, near 8 Mile and Davis. Been itchin' for some dirt too. The closest, as mentioned by vanilla_gorilla, is Prairie City OHV in Folsom. All types of terrain so you can push all the buttons in your truck.

Keep an eye out for me. I'm out and about all over the area.

Welcome.
The various Nor Cal groups put together some good runs. Keep your eyes open, a lot are posted here.
In the end, come to NV, lots of places to run around here.

Welcome. Prairie City is good. I've also done Knoxville near Lake Berryessa and Hollister just for kicks. No dunes yet but there's always something cooking locally or in SoCal if you don't mind the trek for a weekend

There's a lot of choices as far as I've learned:

Prairie City (SacTown) for some basic offroading and learning how your truck handles.

There is a big Carson to Reno run this weekend with a lot of trucks going. This run is by Raptor expeditions like the others said - they have a lot of big runs and those are fun.

From Lodi you could get to a few OHV parks near the 5 too but good luck!

Welcome and congratulations... You won't regret the Oregon Dunes... The one problem with this place is you will want to come back over and over again...
