Make no mistake this was a 5 figure repair. Long block is $7000, turbos are $1000 each figure $1000 for miscellaneous parts/supplies (trust me it adds up fast)
And about 28 hrs labor (my labor rate is 143.76) is $4k . This is a 15k job all day everyday.

Do NOT play if you can not PAY.

The GT is a closed block. It wouldn't make sense for Ford to give the regular F150/Raptor all the GT good stuff. But a GT short block is (well damn they do not service a short block) a complete GT engine is $88,390.67 + labor

This is a 2012 3.5 ecoboost with over 200K miles.

He previously did a 2.7 ecoboost teardown and admitted that it's not easy finding a blown up ecoboost motor. I guess that's good news?

As long as the tuner knows what he's doing then you'll be ok.

The biggest thing i've seen as a mistake some make is a load of torque at 3000rpm; pair that with e85 and you can easily make 620-630wtq at very low RPM. That'll break a rod quick.

If you can flatten that torque out, then you'll be ok.
