What features are disabled? There’s nothing that’s been disabled that prevents any pro tuner from dialing in a map, you just can’t disable cel’s to delete emissions equipment anymore.

I understand why people are bothered how Cobb went about it with no warning, but they basically had a gun to their head. Either comply or go out of business.

I have no idea what the limit data is from the factory.

I would have to look at what can and cannot be changed or "Ancillary Definitions"

After reading that Cobb put all flex fuel and other non-supported parts on a deep discount before announcing all of the things that can't no longer be done with the accessport/accesstuner I can't see myself supporting them anymore.

@GooseTuned how are you going to create a custom tune? How can the boost or any parameters be changed without the ability to change what triggers a DTC?

For the Gen 2 Goose will be able to continue to use Accesstuner Race to write custom tunes, just as he has been. The only difference with the recent Cobb changes is that we won’t be able to disable the cel/dtc from a cat delete. Run stock downpipes or catted downpipes and it should be business as usual.

The Gen 3 should be the same once Cobb releases its Gen 3 support.

The Subaru community was hit especially hard because most of the modded setups use cat deletes, ewg’s, egr deletes, etc. etc.

Yep as mentioned, nothing changes for us in the Raptor group. As long as you stay compliant which everyone that I tune has been, there will be no issues at all.

Yeah, BS how Cobb went about it.

Standalone is the way to go if you're that into it.

What CEL do you plan on removing?

I can remove some that are NOT emissions related. Things like shutters when those get removed for bigger Intercoolers.

But again, that hasn’t changed. So just stay emissions compliant and you have no worries.

Probably a dumb question at this point. I have had my Gen 3 for 3 months, like it a lot, would love a little more miles per gallon, but guess that is what I signed up for! If I got you to tune mine once you are able to, what is the approximate cost, and is there only changes to the hp and Torque, or also shift points in the transmission, and what is the impact on MPG? Thanks!

It’ll likely be in the $1395 area. Mpg won’t change much if at all but it really depends on how you drive

It’s hard to say on power gains until I can start hit if it’s like the Gen 2 then I’d expect 70-80hp gains on pump gas stage 1, 100hp stage 2

Thanks for the update. How different are the stages... my guess is that Stage 1 would be good enough.... depending on how much work has to be done to get there. I am a little concerned about ongoing maintenance and possible declines of a service issue. I may have a discussion with the local service manager first, see what he thinks?
