Gen 2 Front OEM Skid VS Gen 3

Wondering if anyone has had the opportunity to see a gen 2 raptor OEM front skid plate side by side with a gen 3 to comment on the differences, if any? I'm guessing its a slightly different shape due to the new bumper design, but curious how close it is. I am trying to pick up a raptor skid plate to add to my son regular 2020 f150, there are lots of people who have done the gen 2 skid on these trucks and works great, but no one who has done the gen 3. Gen 3 skid plates are half the price of the gen 2, so wondering if they are close enough I might give it a try with a gen 3 skid.

Gen 2 skid plate fits in Gen 3.

Did not try other way around.

Why not just get a tremor skid…
