Garage out of WiFi range - do I care?

OK. WiFi off. Auto updates off. Hotspot off. What else can I turn off? GPS? I don't have NAV. I kinda like being able to use FordPass to see where my truck is, but I hate the idea of Ford being so far up my butt that they can see out my eyeballs. But then, between Google and my carrier, it's already a bit crowded in there. Can it be done cleanly?

Good question, I’ve never tried, because I like using Ford Pass, even though it only works about half the time.

Just updated Sync on my 2019 Raptor from version 3.3 to 3.4 using this tutorial:
