OK but Hey this is funny I don't care who you are..... Why hell yes it is the battery and a tip----hold the transmitter under your chin it increases the range. That is No Joke! Been doing it for years...

Well yes. You see by doing that, the remote will be about 6 inches above the ground, and everybody knows that the "waves" from the remote travel much further that way. Heck, last time I tried the range was almost half a mile
