Had a hauler drag my new to me 320 Outrage (14,000 pounds here) up from South Florida, he used his F450 work truck.
This afternoon I saw the boat sitting at the marina and I had know. Could the Raptor with its beefy frame and Deaver +3HD (13 leafs) handle the load? Granted I was not interested in long distance highway cruising but I was curious about the feasibility of skipping the search for a used diesel to haul it around for maintenance, fueling etc.

Anyways, it towed great! Didn’t drag it over 55 out of respect for the physics at play, but she was rock steady to that point. I am going to skip the search for a used diesel that I’d likely only use once or twice a year. Ford builds one hell of a 1/2 ton.

I have trailered, launched, and fueled my 36 Invincible with my Raptor quite a bit. Highway speeds are not good, but with the SVC bumps in the towing position its really not that bad.

Nice setup!

Thanks. Are you on the stock rear leafs? I presume electric over hydraulic? What speed do you tow at? Nice rig, touché!! [emoji1787]

Deavers and the SVC adjustable bump setup same as yours but with fox bumps. I keep the boat on the trailer and try to just go to the launch and back with the Raptor which is less than a mile on a 35mph street, not an issue. I've had to go on the highway a few times and 60mph is no problem, but its not safe... no weight on the front of the truck.

I currently have a 2018 with a 4 inch Fabtech lift and love it.. I am interested in the Deaver 3+ rear springs. Does one use the stock two inch rear blocks to maintain the lift?
I tow a 5000 lbs surf boat but with the stock rear springs it really squats down. Don’t really want to go the air bag route. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
