I wasn't a fan of the MBRP turndown ... I swapped out for a Spintech Pro Street (still dumped b4 axle) and am much, much happier!

I have SpinTech also, no res. Mine dumps behind the axle. I don't think I know what drone is. Figure if i had it, I'd know.

I also have SpinTech and love it... although I don't know which model it is. Since all these MBRP drone issues have been popping up lately, maybe I'll just stay within the SpinTech line and just go bigger there.

My Flowmaster with resonator delete is pretty loud and drony. But I like it a lot. But I can see how it can get on your nerves. I'd bite the bullet and get another exhaust. And keep the stock resonator.

but when the RPMs get between 1500-2000 RPMs, the drone takes over and is so bloody loud the whole cab vibrates and its like sitting inside a base guitar.

My truck doesn't have those rpm's, I bought a raptor

U shouldna remain stock & just put turn downs before the axle. No drone & a great sound. Blind folks can't stand the drone sound.
