Long Island Ford dealers suck at customer service. Hopefully your truck continues to run good and you wont have to bring it in.

That is awesome information, I'm going to look into doing that also. When I have weight in the back at all, it feels like the car is shaking and shuddering bad.@dlbb has a good assessment. FYI, the info from Ford states that the vehicle should rest for 20-30 minutes with the battery disconnected.
As for your backend hopping, yeah, I've noticed a radical difference in my Gen2 as compared to my '12 Gen1. The fact of this truck being 400 pounds lighter really makes the backend feel downright squirrelly at times. Especially noticeable under hard acceleration over small bumps.
BUT...I had to have my wheels/tires balanced threes times; and the final was by the ROADFORCE system. Only THEN, did my truck not have a rhythmic bounce on the freeway!

I'll try the reset tomorrow and check back in to see how the truck drives, thank you for the instructions...I'll keep the battery off for 20 minutes then continue the directions you gavedo a kam reset. then drive in sport mode for a week. it is entirely possible u are too gentle on the truck and it learned you grandpa driving style. also let the air pressure down to the recommended 38psi cold
kam reset.
when the truck is cold.( set for longer then 6 hrs) disconnect the battery negative side first then positive.
turn on the headlights for 1 min or so.
connect the battery positive side first then negative.
start the truck with headlights, radio and ac off.
let idle for 15 min.
turn on ac, headlight, and radio. and idle 5 min.
drive the truck as you normally would. ( use sport mode for better learning)
if it throws a code and cel then take it to the dealer without turning off the truck cause u have a misfire or other issue.
report back and tell if this worked lol
not talking shit just telling from an experienced owners standpoint with the 3.5 especially.
don't drill the stupid weep hole. if you think it is a condensation issue have the dealer take off the ic and check it if the kam reset doesn't work.
no need to wait 20 min if you turn the headlight on. not to auto just on. it will drain the system completely in under a minThat is awesome information, I'm going to look into doing that also. When I have weight in the back at all, it feels like the car is shaking and shuddering bad.

OIC, was wondering why that was added to the mix...lol. I understand now. System has to completely lose power in order to do a reset. I'll do it in the afternoon tomorrow.no need to wait 20 min if you turn the headlight on. not to auto just on. it will drain the system completely in under a min
Do you or anyone know of a good shop on near suffolk county, long island, NY that does road force balancing. I would pay any amount to make that stupid bounce go away...lol@dlbb has a good assessment. I actually just checked my tire pressures, didn't even think of that cause the computer said i was about 38 on all 4. With my air gauge i had just about 50psi on both back tires and about 45 on both front tires. I let them all down to 38 psi and I'll take for a ride tomorrow before the reset and see how the truck drives...if its that simple...lolstart with 38psi all around on cold tires. first thing in the morning. i live in so cal so shit freeways is normal to me. my selling dealer had mine at 48psi. i let it down to the recommended 38psi and only have a lil bounce now.
