Im crazy!!!!!!! Check it out, three options, 14 inch, 13 inch, and a hidden one. My buddy who put the euro on his 12 toyota taco said reception isnt as good, but HD radio is better. Hes in San Diego.

I like that. You can probably adjust the height to barely above cabin height so you can still use it as a parking garage guide.

i dont like the lump in the middle

I like the lump bc I plan on adding VHF to match. The shorty's look out of place like they should be positioned on the center roof top like a rally car in my opinion. I have another 10" from billet specialties that's chrome I was going to paint black. Antennas are almost a must on trucks, weird when they're not noticeable on that passenger side. My reception hasn't been affected one bit either.

if you cut your antenna, make sure to do it in 3in increments until you get to the desired length. antennas are 31 inches for a reason, so just any random cut can possibly diminish your reception

31 is not an increment of 3 just fyi

a standard 31in antenna is 1/4 of a wavelength at 1 watt. since the frequency band is from 87.7 to 107.9 (in the U.S.) taking 3inches at a time helps keep the wavelength to height ratio intact to retain the best possible reception. that is until it is to low to have a proper ground plane at which point reception will be terrible.
