JL 750HD would be good for 2 W3s, but the only issue is it'll be a sealed setup. That's a tight bass rather than a deep bass. I want ported & I believe the W3s need 1.75 cubic feet per sub ported & there's def not that much room under our seats.
go with a fiberglass box. that way you can fit 2 12s under there. with the bigger voice coil on the 12s you will get deeper response

Was gonna go with that but talked with nosbusa, I think you'd be happier with the setup I'm looking at now. Supercrew Sound box with 12's pioneer shallow mounts and rockford Fosgate amp. The 12's may not be as loud as the 10w3's but it'll give you deeper bass
make a trip out here. i will build you a box at my cost, just so everyone knows its possible.

Wish I could. Such a long distance to drive though. Although if you can find a Supercab F150 and build it for that. I would do that and have you ship it.

make a trip out of it. we can do your whole audio system. that way i can get the necessary info on the truck so i can eventually become a vendor, and you get a massive audio system at half normal cost. raptors are far and few here so trying to get different raptors here takes a hell of a long time. i need trucks in my shop

Nosbusa- I would so be at your shop buddy but unfortunately I'm located at the bottom of the boot as we like to refer to this place, lol! And as for as the w-3's go..... The w3 is 500w RMS 1000w max. Why wouldn't I be able to run both on my alpine pdx1000.1?? What shallow mount is better than a w3 without breaking the bank?
The reason i ask is bc Every shop around here looks at me stupid for thinking of going for a shallow mount over the w3's.......
I don't like dropping my truck off many places. Half of these around here are kids that play in the vehicle more than work and then figure your charges by the type of vehicle you roll up in. I'm really debating the 10" route though. I never had 10's and when I would jam my 12's, I been noticing that I'm catching more punchy bass with the 12 bottoming out. Maybe it be in my best interest to go the 10 route given you know a little better details what I'm hearing ?

MAXX- thanks, as Him and I been discussing a few things via pm as well!

swampking- the 10w3 max power is 500watts, the rms is 300. so running the 1000 watt amp is a little high and will probably void JL warranty. the reason other shops are wondering why you want to go with shallow mounts is probably because of the fact that they dont understand fully how the box affects you speaker. you need the right box for the speaker. just because the speaker fits doesnt mean you will have a big enough box for under the seat. in this particular setup a shallow mount 12in woofer with a bigger box will sound better than trying to fit the 10w3 under there with a smaller box. box size directly affects sound quality and performance, as well as the speaker size.

The specs your supplying are for the JL 10w3v3-4. The JL10" being 500rms-1000max, I was referring to the JL 10W3v3-2 subwoofer.

The specs call for the sub to have 0.625 cubic feet in sealed and the Fox Accoustics box is .065 each side

Nos I really wanna do but I just can't make it that far. However the cab of a raptor is the same as all the other f150s. You you could build a box that fits any regular F150 Supercab 2009+ I'll buy it from you at as long as it isn't outrageous. Only thing is its gotta be shipped

Can you post pics? I'm debating the fox box and with 2 alpine type R shallow mounts. Looking for a speaker that can handle 600RMS and that doesnt have a deeper mounting depth than 6"?

if ur not sold on the w3's yet check out the sundown audio SD-2's, they are less than 6" deep. i got 2-10's in custom sealed box built to spec for these subs. they hit hard and tight. they get pretty low too. overall i am very happy for them.
