I am having exactly 0 ACC or safety feature issues. The issues are with the truck shutting down completely or the gauge cluster resetting and blank Screening for no reason. No warnings, no CEL’s, no nothing to indicate that anything I have done (which in my opinion is very minimal, and have been done hundreds of times before) could be the source of the truck being in reverse, shutting down, hard shifting into park, resetting, and then coming back online while the truck is still in gear.
You’ve offended the raptor fan boys . How dare you impune the raptor’s reputation? There is no such thing as a lemon raptor. Anything that goes wrong with the truck is your fault. Ford does not make mistakes!!

I'll chime in here for whatever it's worth (2020 Limited with H.O. 3.5L)

I've had many, MANY issues with mine and all told about 6mos of non-use of the truck.
I am under second review for buy-back, but no final decision. The dealer has "hinted" that my aftermarket wheels are causing an issue with the front transfer case, and I have asked for the Engineering Calculations to prove it. Additionally, I have submitted that the afremarket wheels and tires that are on the truck are wll within the spec of wheel/tire combos offered from the factory. For example - the aftermarket wheel/tire presently on the truck has a diameter of 32" and a rolling circumference of 100.5". There are factory stock packages (the 18" for example) that are both larger in diameter and larger rolling circumference. Additionally - I researched that all of the F150's with front locking differential ("4A" switch) use the same transaxle - including the Raptor. For the Raptor ... the stock wheels/tires are 34.4" diameter and rolling circumference of 107.9". Clearly ... my wheels/tires are not TOO MASSIVE (Ford Hotline words) to cause the clutch to fail ....

Under Maganusson Moss, a dealer must PROVE that the aftermarket part caused the failure, simply stating so will only appease those folks that don't know any better. Harley has been notorius for doing this when ANY part is replaced with aftermarket. For Harley ... the FTC decided H-D had to pony-up a $25 million fine for such tactics.

While I have zero knowledge of the specifics involved here ... perhaps this can shed some light for others involved with warranty disputes.

First off, there is no locking front differential on any model, nor do these trucks have a transaxle or “front transfer case”.

Second, you can’t install larger wheels/tires on your vehicle and try to justify it by saying that other models come with the same size tires. You didn’t buy that model so it’s irrelevant; the manufacturer is required to warranty the vehicle in the configuration in which it was built, not as you’ve modified it. Raptors have 4.10 axles and heavier duty components to support the 35” tires they are built with. Your Limited does not, therefore your argument regarding “other F-150s” is baseless and downright ridiculous.

Also note that Raptor uses a completely different TCCM and calibration than any other model. That’s the module that controls the transfer case and clutch. So it’s not “the same”, not even close.

Wrong. Try actually reading and understanding MM. The legislation was enacted to allow consumers to choose OE equivalent aftermarket parts, like air filters and oil filters, without risk of voiding their warranty unless it can be shown that the aftermarket part caused the failure. It has nothing to do with you installing oversized tires and damaging your transfer case clutch.

Clearly you have zero knowledge of vehicles (“transaxle”? “Front transfer case”?) yet you’re so adamant that your modifications couldn’t possibly be responsible for your issues. Nor do you understand that you’re responsible for damage/issues caused by your modifications, not the manufacturer.

I don’t know why the concept of a warranty is so hard to understand for so many people, or why said people think they’re entitled to free repairs and buybacks for issues caused by their mods.

I have had several issues with my 22 37package. The lastest was 4 one time use bolts that had an ETA of 4 1/2 month. After 3 weeks i lit the CEO and ford trucks etc up on twitter. And I was relentless. Almost immediately Ford contacted me and got involved with the issue and low and behold couple days after that my 4 bolts miraculously appeared. My truck was down for approximately 30 days and ford on there own contacted me again and offered me a $1300 debit card for my trouble. So u should have a case opened. Ive attached the contact info of the woman who took care of all my issues and worked out the debit card. Hope this helps.

I told you the facts. You have no idea what you’re talking about or claiming. Yet you think you’re entitled to modify your truck, induce issues, and get the warranty to cover it? Then you hire an ambulance chasing s*****g lawyer to work the system and get it bought back? Absolutely disgusting.

I know we haven’t seen eye to eye in this thread but I agree. If my dealer comes back and finds that my moss have caused me issues, that’s on me. It’s a modification from factory after all. Is it LIKELY it is causing my issues? I say no, BUT hey, it could and if so that’s on me.

What this dude is talking about is pretty ridiculous.
