"Guy" has done the work and spent the money on the ecoboost. He advised that even maxing it out didn't get close to TRX numbers.

Kuan? Can't stay away can you. As I mentioned, even the RMB Motorworks Stage 1 is good to 700WHP. Stop with the hearsay.

Does anyone even know what the TRX wheel hp is yet? I mean 702 at the crank on that big thing is prob a pretty good chunck less at wheel. And a Raptor with less weight dont need as much hp/torque to be comparable. So I wouldn't completely write off a built Ecoboost.

TRX is probably 610-615whp. I can't see a 3.5 getting there. Nobody has been able to do that (with a warranty).

@FordTechOne - roughly how much hp/torque can the factory 10spd handle in the Raptor? I have zero interest in adding power to the truck (I’m not throwing away my extended warranty for 8 years), but I’m just curious.

I don't have any insight as to the max, but per Ford's specifications the transmission is designed to handle a maximum input torque of 800Nm, which is 590 lb-ft.

There is a shop in Maryland doing Twin-turbo Coyote swaps. The first one off the dyno put down right around 1000 HP. I'd say the minimum you'll get done there for is probably 35K as well.

You can go to hypercar in NC, and depending on what you opt for, you can plan on 38K-55K. you'll be at about 750HP from them.

You could do a Coyote swap and hit up Petty's Garage for the Blower, supporting parts and tune. Petty's version throws down a smidge over 800HP. ( contact Texas motorworx for the Petty bits. )

Or you can stick with an ecoboost and talk to RMB in NJ. The sky is the limit. You can go from "stage 1" and the way up to " I don't care what 1500HP will cost me, do it!"

There are other options, But I can't speak to them. The options listed above, I have either Personally driven/seen, or have friends/acquaintances that own the trucks.

In all cases, transmission upgrades ( clutches, etc.) are warranted. If you go V8 swap, the transmission MUST be changed. ( bellhousing is different.)

The choice is yours. Gotta Pay to play.

I’d be looking at what Ford puts in their upper end Mustangs and head down that path. Not sure I’d want a turbo’d engine and probs would prefer a smoother delivery on supercharger.
