Hard pass on that, bud. Not with the new 7.0 liter dual overhead cam V8 on the way. Now that is a truck engine. And one an enthusiast could really get excited about.

:win:
Don't you mean 14 litre v24 quad turbo? I agree.

Just tell me when you want to trade that truck of yours. I'm excited just thinking about how incredible it must be to drive.

You finally got a V8... nice! Congrats, bud!!!

But sorry to burst your bubble. My truck is a keeper. I'll consider adding another Raptor to the stable when the forthcoming 7.0 liter dual overhead cam V8 makes its debut.

hopefully your truck will last a long time because you will never see a 7.0l engine let alone a V8 in the raptor or F150 again for a production.

Just wait until Roush or (God forbid) Hennessey modify a 2017. I'm sure their numbers will be great.. the Hennessey will probably start on fire either way. How are those guys still in business?

Someone earlier mentioned the Gen1 having $50,000 in upgrades. That was funny, but when Hennessey upgrades the turbos on a 2017 he will sell that upgrade for $100,000 lol. And people will line up to have the work done, and have parts stolen off their truck, and have it in his shop for a year, and have the law called on them if they confront him to get their money back etc. To upgrade a Gen2 to an 18 wheeler he will be charging 2.5 million.

His videos are cool. I like the blown GT350 video he made, it sounds incredible. But you cant do business with that dude, obviously.

BTW, does anyone else hate his logo? I love red badges and accents but that cursive is horrible. Ok ok, Im done.

Uhh yeah. Sound stock to me. Embellish it a bit more, the Gen2 has quad turbos and a 4.0 bored out motor too right? Gen1 stock. Wow. You're right, I'll straight trade my truck for yours.

That actually is a pretty stock truck, I know whose it is.

You don't know what the future holds. Besides, there's plenty of other V8 powered trucks out there (and others in the works... like the TRX) if Ford doesn't actually complete their plans to offer the new dual overhead cam 7.0 liter V8 in the Raptor. The ecoboost was just a short term stop gap since the Le Mans run was a priority and it had marketing value.
