WTF Am I Doing Wrong (wheel well liners)

Ended up removing them and spraying the wheel wells like many other members

Husky is it right now, ford makes some for the regular f150, but dont fit ours.
Some people had horrible time with installing. Some like myself had no problems, and no trimming. Other then initially installing them backwards, oops. That being said, that was with the old design that covered the shock. My new design ones will be here tomorrow, and ill have to remove the old ones and install the new.. Lets see how that goes.

I tried for over an hour to install mine last week and finally got pissed enough to stop. Will try the trimming route today with hopefully some success.

No experience with them, but I came across these on Amazon. They are carpeted.

My wife's Grand Cherokee has carpeted liners. Maybe it cuts down on road noise?

I don't know but the thought of having to clean mud and clay off of them sounds arduous.

I've never had any issues with the pressure washer.

I've seen that style on some Jeeps, and also on an older Colorado, it reminded me of an indoor/outdoor carpet molded into that shape. It's said to reduce pinging/clatter from stones.
