I think the ds with the machined ring is in stock but very limited from method right now. The ds with the black ring is still on it's way here from china or still going through customs. This was the update I got as of last wednesday. Things have very possibly changed by now. I would give method a call and see if they can provide a little help for you. They are easy to deal with.

And I can keep my bfgs mounted for snow and wet highway driving.
