Disconnecting the battery and connecting the positive and negative cables together for 5 minutes might turn it off if the only reason the light came on was for disconnecting it. If the seat belt pretensioners went off, it was commanded by the RCM (Restraints control module) and the code will likely not clear with a battery disconnect. It might be a trip to the dealer to pull and clear the code. I know you said no airbags went off, but the pretensioners might have. That would render replacement of the belt (I am assuming the shiny comment earlier was not the full reason for replacement..) If there was one person in the front, the left seat belt buckle will be shorter than the right unless someone was riding shot gun if the pretensioners went off.

If you keyed the truck up with them unplugged, yes. Was the airbag light on prior to replacing them?

Yes it was started and driven with one disconnected. I do not know if the light was on prior.

That'll cause it to light up. Go to a ford dealer and have it cleared. I'm 99% positive a battery reset won't do it.

Replaced my seat belts
Had to disconnect the plugs and plug into new housing so now how do you turn off the airbag sensor light in the dash?

Nahh. I have three filters now. I'll just swap em every few thousand miles. Recharge kit is $10 and good for three filters. It's all good.

Got some news from the 2015 Edition of the Rally of Marokko and there's a Raptor racing down there !!

I was wondering what did they do to prepare the truck for that race, I'm spying a roll cage, rear custom exhaust and an ugly snorkel...
