I backed over a huge piece of concrete today and decided to look underneath (I didn’t hit the concrete) but I found my rear end leaking. Well at least I already have an appointment for the misfire so I called and added it to the list.

When you installed the diff cover, did you use the gasket that came with it ? When I installed mine, I opted to run that one aswell. Looking back I wish I would have put a lube blocker on gasket instead …

I didn’t install it. It was already done when I bought my truck. I was under the truck about 12 days ago and didn’t see any leaks. Two days ago I had to lock and the differential to get out of the yard. It was wet and muddy and then yesterday I had to lock it in and then I had to lock it into 4H just to get out of the yard and I noticed something wasn’t right, so I backed back in and saw this mess.

Did some running down in mex while chasing for the 250. First time really testing out the mid travel and 39s and boy did she eat. I did have some rubbing in the front (front bumper) and a slight touch in the rear. Chopped the bumper and slid the rear axle back 1/8 inch so she be good now.
