I was into Sync3 upgrade for under $600 total by finding all required elements myself $100 parts (gps device, media hub) + Screen/APIM $400~ (eBay, like new) + $50 for APIM programming (https://sync3programming.com/Sync-3-APIM-Programming-for-FORScan-via-Email-by-DanMc85-p112322808). Lot to read but check out https://www.fordraptorforum.com/threads/2013-2014-raptors-sync-2-sync-3-upgrade.53752/ to get you started
Better option than the Pheonix Px6 you think?

I tried the Px6 in a buddies mustang late last year. Left too much to be desired functionally for me, and poor customer support when he was having issues, among other things. Looks amazing, but I’m not certain the issues have been resolved. They may have been. He ended up going a different direction. I’m happy with the Sync3 upgrade for what I use it for and it was comparatively cheap and easy way to get to know your truck a little better. You can even begin venturing into the Forscan world with this upgrade if you have an itching to do that.
