I appreciate the photos! Its crazy to see all the little dings and dents in your exhaust, i knot its been hammered@

This is what i would like to achieve, this looks like its only about a half inch or so below the pinch weld. Of course this is the only photo i can find of this truck and its exhaust so who really knows if its as tucked up as it looks from this angle.

No problem. And yea it has been peppered a bit. Those are all “high speed” rocks that have hit it, including the first photo below. As in thrown from the tires not rock crawling.

That does look sharp. Could in on me though. I have never really gotten the first hanger to sit right and if you look closely the exhaust does slope downward, but does not appear to really need to. I’ll try to button it up a little better, but for now the list is long with other items lol.

“Finished” the front fender install. They still need sanded/cleaned up but I believe the clearancing is finished. Worked on the head light area for quite a while. It is about as good as I’ll be able to get it.

Still debating on having them painted vs wrapping the truck. Currently leaning towards the wrap, that is until I probably hear how much it will cost, lol.

Initial prime on the hammered pinch welds. Going to coat the back side of the pinch weld with body sealant and then finish hammering them flat. Clean it up with more body sealant and prime again. Plan is to finish coat the pinch weld and firewall with raptor liner.

Thinking on going ahead and doing the bed sides vs waiting. I would like to make the bedsides removable much like the front fenders are, but I’m not sure if I am going to be able to pull that off and keep them rigid. Also wondering if I’ll still be able to run the bed cover.

Note that the front fender install isn’t perfect but neither am I, lol.

Here are a few pictures:

Here are some smaller updates, next few weeks will be the lions share of this “phase” of updates.

Photo with the bed sides mostly fitted, wrap color next to current paint color, “semi-blacked out” bed (I actually kind of like it that way, where some do the blue comes through), and a bracket I made to mount the bedsides.

Not sure how a surprise attack can make suspension components. But you have my attention...
Lol, Blitzkrieg Motorsports

I went with them for a few reasons:

In general, I wanted double shear connections, fabricated components, a secondary shock, and retain 4x4.

Other factors:

Track width - this kit is a plus 2" per each side. I wanted wider but not (WIDE as I spread my arms as an example). +2" should keep me pretty in line with my plus 2 fenders, still help me fit on the trails.

Turning radius - horizontal mounted lower uni ball should allow me to keep my turning radius tighter when compared to a vertical one.
