Time to put some new shoes on my 17. I have 17” race lines and my stock KO2 with 20k miles. I have 1” RPG collars up front as a leveling lift and was leaning towards plus one sized Nitto Grapplers. I’m in Boston so 95% pavement and 5% off-road in the summer in both Maine and NH.

Curious what input you guys have for those that still have 17” rims but have increased the tire size. Primary concern is to avoid rubbing yet still have a tire that performs well on road. Thanks for the feedback in advance. Kevin

Good question. As the stocks are 315/70/17 I’m not actually sure how far I can go without having to resolve clearance issues.

33, 35,37 could all be in play if I don’t have to modify the truck for fitment.

Mine leveled with 35 toyo RTs rub at full lock. You can trim a small portion on the inner well so it won’t.

Your oem tire is 34.4. I seriously hope you are kidding about running a 33 as that would be going backwards. Run a true 35 or a 37.

And the majority of 35x12.50x17's are virtually the same height as the stock 315x70x17..

The KO2s in the 35 size are only 1/10th of an inch taller than the OEM KO2s, however the OEM tread is 4/10ths wider.

Exactly above, and my measurement last night is absolutely in line with the advertised specs given the tread wear (even through they still look pretty new) and PSI. Plus for me, when I checked the pressure cold 2 weeks ago it was warmer here. Last night it dipped down into the 30s, so my cold pressure was probably a little lower which effects height.

Actually thinking about it, cold temps effect both height and length.
