Hey, was wondering if anyone has experienced squeaking in the seat where the trim meets the molding / shell of the seat?

On my M3 the seat was a solid molded piece of trim, but in the Raptor it's different. It's getting more and more noticeable on the left side of the driver's seat.

I'm fairly average build for what it's worth, 5'11 and 210.

Left side of driver’s seat on my 2019 with leather seats also squeaks. I too just ignore it. Trying to fix it may make it worse.

My driver seat does the same. Where the Recaro seat meets the plastic mold. I’ve tried a few micro cloth wedges and a piece of leather. It has helped with sound.

My Recaro is squeaking too ... has to be some sort of fix for this short of having the dealer replace the entire chair!

I have found that mine will do it only if I lean heavily on the side bolster, which I don’t normally do. It is silent otherwise so it doesn’t bother me at all. Replacing the seat will not resolve anything, the design will be the same.

Good to know ... I played with it a bit more, both seats do it. I was able to reduce it a little by using some dense foam on under the left driver's seat bolster, but the side bolsters on both seats squeak. I think you're right. These Recaro's I find over long drives to be very nice, so worth the small bit of noise when moving around.

Bit of a perfectionist, but usually whoever buys my used stuff finds everything to be in absolute pristine shape if that's any consolation ha ha

Been going around and around with this for a year. Ford would do NOTHING for me at all. Even opened a case with Corp Ford. NOTHING. My drivers seat had springs popping when you push in the middle of the seat base…. AND the oh so common left bolster squeak. Tried the bending of the seat base. Didn’t work for mine.
Welllllll…… I ended up Replacing the seat base, outside of any warranty claim (thanks Ford ) Was great for one week. Then the bolster squeak started back. I’ve since taken the outer side cover off that houses the seat switches, and used squeak Felt tape on the upper edge that rubs against the leather seat cushion itself. Also taped all the mounting taps as a safety measure. Been a few weeks new. It’s been 100% squeak free thus far…… best 10.00 ever spent on Amazon. Now need to do the same to all the B pillar parts by the seat belts. And my Pano roof is rattling again….. plastic clips probably broke Again Built Ford Tough…… I think Not. Still LOVE my 2020 G2 overall though…..
