Did the front fender today to see the contrast. I think the paint overpowers the plastidip on a black truck. Not sure if I should keep on dipping or get them painted to match the metallic black. Feedback would be great.

Looks awesome man! Could you share how you did this? (What you used to cover the surrounding areas)

These are the only pictures I took with the new look from 2 weeks ago. I did the blue lips because I have the hood wrap with Raptor lettering in blue and the side vents have blue behind it.

Thanks! It's very simple. Look in the how-to section on the forum and there are plenty of videos on how to plasti-dip. You can't mess it up. The only advice I would add is on the 4th coat, use a fresh can. If a can starts getting close to empty, it start sputtering plasti-dip and the finish is not as good. Good Luck!

Be sure to pick up a Spray can trigger. It makes it much easier and I noticed it didnt sputtering the plasti-dip as much.

plastidipped the tailgate FORD emblem today:

after looking at that pic of the plastidipped emblem, i thought that it looked kinda cheap

so i busted out the exacto knife and some patience:

looks a lot better to me - even if its still chrome.

Got another gallon of plastidip in! Time to do the Ugly grey pillars on the doors, the mirrors, fender flares, and grill! Everything else is finished (front & back bumper)

Anyone have any tips to remove the front fender flares? Like a guide with pictures? And possibly a link to buy more clips because I will undoubtedly break a few... lol. That and maybe how to remove the Pillars on the doors? They look kinda difficult I should be able to tape them off. Thanks in advance!
