If the '18 shifts better than your '19, the TCM has been updated. The 18's shift like trash stock.

Yes, not to beat a dead horse but the 2018 shifts way more precisely and predictable… where as the 2019 had some bumpy shift moments occasionally where I think to myself, “ where did that come from?”

Does the new truck have the updated PCM reprogram? If not I would get that done ASAP.

Found out the updated PCM reprogram was done just about a year ago… thanks again for reminding me to have that checked!

Took the bed gear off my old one,(including Retrax Tonneau cover,) and put on the new one. Interestingly, the Retrax barely leaks on the new one, versus the old one leaked quite a bit. I think I must have it positioned better front to back.
